Is there a scientific basis to astrology?

If we look into quantum mechanics, we know there are forces at work by which planets revolve around their suns, and by which solar systems travel through the galaxies. The same forces at work on our ocean tides, and sunspots, also influence ecosystems, biology and our genetic systems and human development. These are far more intricate and detailed than the popular astrology columns based only on sun signs. Interpretation, of course, is varied and sometimes at odds. It isn't perfect, but there is something to it.
